The all Wallasey league Wirral FA Youth Cup semi final was an evenly fought encounter that was well marshalled by referee Ray Jones and his two assistants, but resulted in a hard earned 1-0 victory for Upton Youth against Heswall Youth who gave their all in a great game.

In the Youth division Cup semi final Princes Villa showed their lineage with a royal performance that saw off the challenge of Neston Nomads with a 3-0 success.

 

The delayed Premier division Cup semi final saw Windsor scuttle Ship FC with a dominant team display that gave them a 4-1 verdict to put them in the final. An Andy Kingan double, allied to singles from Robbie Black and David Cowie secured the result, with Stuart Speed hitting the lone reply from the penalty spot.

 

Premier division results saw Big House moving into third place following their excellent 6-1 win at home to The Cheese, in which Perrie Black and Stewart Jackson notched a brace apiece, with Jamie Quinn and Paul Cupit claiming a goal each. Poulton Royal are now a point clear at the top after drawing 1-1 with Cheshire Cheese, who had Peter Navarro as their marksman.

 

Dutchman Cup 2nd round action saw 56 goals scored in the eight games, with AFC Tima taking the honours against higher grade opponents when rolling over Stanleys Cask in a 4-3 victory, thanks to Mike Redgrift-2, Tony Campbell and Daryl Tomlinson getting the goals. Despite Mark Roberts bagging a brace for Phoenix they were put out of the cup by FC Victoria who eased home 7-2, as Danny Holdsworth-4, Adam Saunders-2 and Lee Swanick netted. Great Float S&S washed away Nags Head when winning 5-2, as Nick Cooper-2, James Harris-2 and Scott Palethorpe found the net. Dukes FC put in regal performance to beat Grange Moreton 6-2, thanks to Rob Langton-2, Ashley Robinson-2, Lee Pickles and Steve Kelly firing the goals, with a own goal and a solitary strike from Joe Curran being the responses. A Callum Evans hat-trick allied to a double from Carl Woolfall gave Oxton Villa a 5-4 success over Shippons FC and Upton FC defeated AM Plant Hire 3-0. Dean Hazelhurst notched a brace for Cetco Europe and Ashley Carey claimed a single as they beat Sandbrook FC 3-2, who replied through John Dennis and Lee Rushbrooke. Efforts from Leigh Bradley-2, Anthony Clarkson-2, Gary Jones, Karl Smith, Steve and Terry Dadoma earned Birkenhead Vale an 8-0 win against division two side PLCCFC.
