24th September 2020

Please read the email below from Ally Noonan of the Wirral Borough Council (WBC).

Please ensure you adhere to all rules and directives so the season can commence and continue without problems. Remember from previous WBC correspondence non-compliance will see the removal of WBC facilities.

Please also be aware the current guidelines and rules can and do change daily. The W&DSFL LMC will endeavour to publish any relevant changes to the Covid-19 guidelines we receive.

Subject: Re: Football Season 20/21 - ACCESS TO TOILET FACILITIES

To: All Clubs – Mayfields / Higher Bebington / Ridgewood Park / Thornton Hough / Birkenhead Park / Harrison Park / Wallacre / Belvidere / Rycroft / Upton Park / Lingham Park / Levers / Plymyard / Central Park / Arrowe Park / Coronation Park / Oval / Woodchurch

Please note as mentioned in a previous email the pavilion changing rooms and shower facilities will remain closed for the foreseeable future.
At each site, signage / sanitiser units have been put in place. There will be a Wirral Council attendant who will open and close the pavilion toilets at each site on the fixture dates provided by the leagues. If I have requested fixtures from the club, please can you ensure that they are submitted to me asap to ensure that the pavilion is open for access to toilet facilities.

With regards to fixtures being played at Woodchurch Leisure Centre, there will be an attendant on site to open and close the toilet facility, showers and changing rooms will remain closed. At the Oval the cricket pavilion toilet facilities will be available for your use, the showers and changing rooms at this site also remain closed. Please note the Oval car park is currently being used by the NHS and is closed to the public until further notice.

Access to the pavilions is not permitted at any other time and locks have been changed to restrict access. Clubs must adhere to this ruling or risk their allocation being cancelled.
Please note club equipment is not to be stored in the pavilion.

Kind regards
Ally Noonan
