No4 Liscard Road Bistro First Division
A late flurry of goals enabled JASGA FC to clinch the title as they came from 0-1 down to defeat Harbour FC 3-1. Steve Wilson had given Harbour a deserved lead that they held until the final twenty minutes when Callum Morrison equalised and then Daren Pritchard and Anthony Gibbons added a goal apiece to seal the victory and take the title. Congratulations go to Pip and Will Armstrong’s team who fought off the excellent challenge of Rockpoint FC who claimed the runners-up spot with a great end to the season.
A goal each from Jordan Crowder and Hayden Birch gave Eastham Rangers a narrow 2-1 success over PLCCFC who replied through Moses Kampaka.
Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division
Wallasey Wanderers made a brave effort to clinch the title when needing a double-figure result to take top spot, but they secured second place following a 7-0 defeat of a gallant and hard-working Park Royal to lose out on goal difference. Macauley Lathom bagged four goals and Owen Pulford, Kevin Jardine and Connor Jackson all netted singles for manager Paul Gale’s team in a terrific performance. Wanderers were sportingly applauded for their effort at attempting to overhaul Liscard Panthers whose whole squad attended the game and their captain was presented with the winning trophy after the final whistle with congratulations being offered to them all for a great season’s work.
Shore Villa and Wallasey Wolves completed their league fixtures as Villa secured a 3-1 victory with goals from Sam Range-2 and Tom Bowers.
Mike O’Sullivan Garages Third Division
A solitary goal from Callum Murphy was enough for North West Harriers to beat West Kirby United Whites 1-0 and now have one league fixture remaining to play.
