By Phil Kemble

Sunday 19th September. Including Wirral FA Junior and Wirral FA Amateur Cups

Report compiled by Tom Potter League Secretary

Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division

In the Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division an excellent fixture saw One O’clock Gun inflict a first defeat on Trident as they shot them down in a 3-2 victory and move into second place. Trident led with a goal from Dean Trevitt, but Connor Griffiths and Nathan Johnson put Gun ahead before Tyler Ward levelled matters, but a late winner from Leyton Clarke gave the Gun the points.

Top of the table still are Shore Villa as they overwhelmed Wallasey Wolves 12-1 as Blagoy Rodov and Jamie Smith both netted trebles and Harry Brassey, Connor Hallwood and Aaron Bird all fired a brace of goals to maintain their unbeaten start, with Ewan Sait claiming the lone response.

Mike O’Sullivan Garages First Division

It was away day in the Mike O’Sullivan Garages First Division as all three away teams recorded victories and saw Vineyard climb up to fourth following their battling 2-1 success over Wallasey Wanderers. Kyle Sloan and Ben Hawitt gave them a 2-0 half time lead, but Wanderers hit back with a penalty goal from Danny Hardman in the second half but Vineyard took the spoils.

A Jack Cooke hat-trick earned Bromborough Town their first victory as they stumped PLCCFC 3-0 in a great team effort

Eastham Rangers also recorded their first win when beating Liscard Panthers 3-1 with goals from Sean Williams, Louis Hopkins and a penalty from Jordan Crowder as they came from 0-1 down after Dale Crawford had opened the scoring from the spot.

Wirral District FA Amateur Cup

Sheridans FC defeated fellow leaguers Eastham Rangers Colts 2-0 in the Wirral District FA Amateur cup as Leon Jones and Connah Bagley found the net in an even encounter.

Wirral District FA Junior cup

No good news from the Wirral District FA Junior cup as all teams playing today were eliminated.
