Mike O’Sullivan Garages First Division

It was a day of comebacks in the as three of the top four fought back to claim the points.

Fightback of the day was the spirited effort from Vineyard who came back from 0-3 down to claim a 4-3 victory over Eastham Rangers as Daz Winders bagged a hat-trick and Ben Hawitt a single to wipe out goals from Martin Marshall-2 and Sam Shannon in a great game.

Bromborough Town also led 2-0 at half time with goals from Max Littler and Joe Skinner, but a second half treble from Macauley Lathom earned Wallasey Wanderers a 3-2 success.

Vale Athletic took an early two goal lead against JASGA FC but Adam Walker and Ben Speed levelled matters before Vale went 3-2 in front, but then Paul Howell grabbed an equaliser and then netted the winner in a hard-fought 4-3 victory. On target for Vale were Frankie Ward, Lewis McBurney and Niall Williams.

Despite a double from Braddon O’Keefe Liscard Panthers went down 3-2 away to PLCCFC who had Paddy Carpenter, Kevin Parr and an own
goal to secure the points

Sheridans FC earned a battling 2-1 success over Eastham Rangers Colts thanks to goal apiece from Mike Neish and Leon Jones to remain unbeaten. Sam Krimou hit the consolation for Colts.

Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division

Action saw Ellesmere Port Red Lions roar to the top following their 5-3 success over Park Royal as Eric Gilmore, Matthew Roberts, Andrew Supple, Jack Parry and an own goal registered, with Alex Ramsay-2 and Jordan Major netting the responses.

A solitary Connor Bowman goal was enough for North West Harriers to take the spoils in a 1-0 defeat of Shore Villa Athletic in a very even encounter.

Wallasey Wolves ravaged Bromborough Athletic when recording a 6-0 win as Sean Galloway-2, George Webster, Ewan Sait, Jermaine Ricketts and Cedric Mathe found the net. Despite a solitary goal from Tim Hughes

Oxton Celtic succumbed 3-1 against Trident whose scorers were Tom Mulryan-2 and Stephen Teale.

Shore Villa came from behind twice to earn a point in the 2-2 draw versus One O’clock Gun due to goals from Blagoy Rodov and Connor Hallwood in a feisty encounter.
