MES Ltd First Division
Only one fixture played in the MES Ltd First Division and saw PLCCFC miss the chance to go into second place when losing to the only goal versus West Kirby Athletic who had Phil Thomas as their match winner.
Only one of the First Division Cup 1st round ties escaped the weather as Vineyard overcame AFC Shore Villa with a solid team effort to secure a 6-0 success as Callum Morrison bagged a hat-trick and Ben Hawitt, Ryan Slater and Joel Campbell all netted singles to ease into round two.
An eight-goal thriller came in the Second Division Cup 1st round with New Brighton Town profiting from a 5-3 victory over Park Royal, thanks to James Carlin netting twice with singles coming from Jack Richards, Dylan Palmer and Ewan Sait. Claiming the replies for Royal were Joe Coulbrook with a brace and Grant Reay with a solo in a battling performance.
Action from the Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division resulted in leaders Shore Villa overpowering below strength club counterparts Shore Villa Athletic and retaining their 100% record as they ran riot in a 10-0 success. Two trebles came from Ben Windle and Lloyd Kearney and singles were netted by James Caul, Sam Range, Connor Hodson and Matthew McCulloch in a good team effort.
