Review Week Fourteen 12th November 2023 - including Cheshire FA Sunday Cup

Report compiled by Tom Potter Press Secretary
Yet again bad weather caused the loss of fixtures, but of those that took place an immaculate two minutes silence was conducted by all teams in respect of Remembrance Sunday before kick-off.
Cheshire Sunday Cup action saw a great game between Vineyard and Queens Bredbury and resulted in a superb 3-2 victory for Vineyard.
Little between to the two teams in the first half was separated by a penalty for Queens just after 30 minutes but Vineyard stayed well in contention. The second half saw the home team create more chances and were rewarded with goals from Nathan Miller and Callum Morrison plus an own goal to see them through to the next round due to a good team effort.
MES Ltd First Division
One O’clock Gun increased their lead at the top of the MES Ltd First Division thanks to a 6-2 defeat of AFC Shore Villa, who had Will Dixon and Nathan Mewis as their marksmen.
Wallasey Wanderers secured victory in an eight-goal fixture against PLCCFC as they ran out 5-3 winners due to Matty Madden and Declan Netherton both bagging a brace and Morgan Catherton adding a single in an end-to-end encounter that places Wanderers in the top five. On target for PLC were Danny Hardman, Charlie Clewlow and Lee Davey.
Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division
