The Wallasey & District Sunday Football League would like to congratulate Mr John Dennett of Ashville FC.
He has been awarded the British Empire Medal in the Kings New Years honours list.
John is a founder member of Ashville FC and also a D-Day veteran and fully deserves such an honour.
We send our sincerest best wishes to John and thank him for his umpteen years of service to amateur football.
