Report compiled by Tom Potter League Secretary

Magee Cup first round first leg

Magee Cup first round first leg action has left all ties in the balance with all four games being well contested.
One O’clock Gun claimed the best result with a hard-fought 3-1 away victory over JASGA FC thanks to goals from Leighton Clarke, Chris Reilly and Leo Taylor and the consolation being netted by Mason Piercy.

Liscard Panthers had a first half goal from Will Callanan to record a 1-0 success over Wallasey Wanderers,

PLCCFC were stumped by Bromborough Town who forced a 0-0 result.

A penalty from Stephen Teale and a late winner from Morgan George gave Trident a battling 2-1 verdict over Vineyard as Ben Hawitt scored in this narrow defeat.

Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division

Only three Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division fixtures took place and saw West Kirby Athletic fail to go top despite a hat-trick from Matty Pipe, as Bromborough Athletic edged the winning tape in a 4-3 victory that could have gone either way.

A six-goal thriller between Shore Villa Athletic and Farmers Arms ended in stalemate as they drew 3-3 to share the points. Steve Ryan bagged a brace and Tom Rowlands a single for Athletic, with Liam Pitt netting a double and Alex Pitt with third responding for Farmers in a great game.

Oxton Celtic claimed the points versus Park Royal as they ran out 2-0 victors thanks to singles by Harry Sutton and Joe D-Henin.

Second Division Cup 2nd round

The rearranged Second Division Cup 2nd round games resulted in Shore Villa eliminate Wallasey Wolves in a 4-1 success as Connor Hodson-2, Tom Oliver and Brandon Thomas scored the goals, with Bernie Davis netting the lone reply.

Despite Zach Rowlands scoring for Ellesmere Port Red Lions, they lost out to AFC Shore Villa whose scorers were Connor Flynn, Oliver Galloway and Jack Gilson in a 1-3 defeat and that means all three Shore Villa teams are through to the last four, along with West Kirby Athletic
