Action from the MES Ltd First Division Vineyard take pole position following fine 4-1 victory over Trident as Gary Winders bagged a treble and John Elias a single, with Harry Murray nothing the consolation.
Bromborough Town recorded their first win when ending Liscard Panthers unbeaten run when claiming a 2-1 success with goals from Andy Simpson and a last-minute effort from Jack Cooke. The only reply coming from Curtis Ledsom-Robinson.
Two teams still undefeated are JASGA FC and PLCCFC after they fought-out a 1-1 draw as Kieran McCabe registered for JASGA and Gordon Chwalko scored for the visitors.
Moreton Alarms Supplied Second Division
Goals aplenty in the Moreton Alarms Supplied Second Division as AFC Shore Villa saw off the challenge counterparts Shore Villa in an emphatic 8-0 success in which James Outram netted four times and Jamie Smith, Aaron Bird, Jack Gilsnen and John Hughes all netted once in a great team effort that places them top of the division.
Another goal glut saw West Kirby Athletic inflict a 6-4 defeat on Oxton Celtic due to doubles from Tom Hill and Joe Davidson, plus singles from Alex Wilson and Seb Pierce, with a brace from Tom Reilly and a single from Connor Harris allied to an own goal completing the scoring.
Sharing the spoils in a 4-4 draw were Ellesmere Port Red Lions and North West Harriers thanks to Liam Sparks hitting a treble and Shea Turpin a single for the Lions and Riley Jones-2, Conor Reeves and Mark Hobbins replying for the Harriers.
Despite three excellent goals from Adam Fisher, Ben Ledgerton and Joe Roberts for Wallasey Wolves, they succumbed to Barnston FC who ran out 7-3 winners, as Sam Henderson-3, Jason Stephens-2, Jamie Mitchell and James Highton got on the score sheet.
A solitary goal from Andy Grice was not enough for Bromborough Athletic as they lost their unbeaten tag 2-1 versus Farmers Arms.
A goal apiece from Jason Farrell and Tom Rowlands gave Shore Villa Athletic their first victory of the season as they beat Park Royal 2-1. On target for Royal was Andy Perry in a very even encounter.
