A late flourish of goals enabled Park Royal to collect their first points of the season in the Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division as they beat Wallasey Wolves 3-1. On target for Wolves was Dylan Bartley.Despite Jack Whitby, Roan Huggins and Lee McNulty netting for Bromborough Athletic they lost a seven-goal thriller versus North West Harriers who replied through George Redfern-2, Jordan Walker and Adam Pickering.
Barnston FC maintained their good start when beating Ellesmere Port Red Lions 3-2 in an even contest due to goals from Josh Walters, Jason Stephens and Will Albiston, with the replies coming from Harry Brassey with a brace.
Still leading the way are ShoreVilla who went nap against New Brighton Town with a 5-1 success as Ben Windle bagged a treble and Sam Range notched a double to keep them three points clear of second place. On target for Town was Oscar Pugh.
FC Greasby failed to find the net against Shore Villa Athletic who had no problems as Ciaran Byrne-2, Charlie Roberts-2 and Ste Ryan secured a 5-0 victory. Goals aplenty in the MES Ltd First Division saw Wallasey Wanderers contest an eight-goal battle that ended 4-4 versus Vineyard and this after Wanderers had led 4-0, but the visitors fought back with goals from Ben Hawitt, Macauley Lewis, Ryan Slater and Alex Sandham. Nine goals came in the PLCCFC versus One O’clock Gun fixture with Gun running-out 6-3 victors thanks to four goals from Owen McMahon and a double from Leighton Clarke to keep them top of the division. Firing the replies were Lee Davey, Jordan Chwalko and George Craven.Finnigan FC kept pace by beating West Kirby Athletic in an end-to-end game full of missed chances, but efforts from Ben Speed, Ant Phillips, Stewart Speed and a John Pomphrett blast from a free kick earned them the points. Nathan Leyland netted twice in reply.
A goal apiece from Steve Lunt and Danny Andrews earned Farmers Arms a 2-1 win away to Oldershaw FC who had Caston Ball-Lalemi netting their lone response.FC Shore Villa overcame Trident in a 4-2 success that saw Jamie Smith snatch a double and both Nathan Mewis and Tom Rowlands scored a goal each to take the spoils, with Stephen Teale bagging a brace in reply.
