Second Division Cup Final - Both Joe Murphy and Brandon Thomas were chosen as player of the match by the opposition in an enthralling Second Division Cup Final that provided an excellent game for the supporters, despite the high winds that caused problems for both teams. But two volleyed goals in the first 20 minutes from Adam Pickering and Riley Jones saw North West Harriers claim a 2-0 lead that they retained until the final whistle and revenged their 2-1 loss on Thursday evening against the same opposition Shore Villa in the semi-final of the Dutchman Cup.
In the Capitol Cup semi-final Wallasey Wanderers defeated Finnigan FC 3-2 in a great game that could have gone either way, but the finishing of Morgan Catterson, Owen Pulford and Matty Madden proved to be decisive in this victory that puts Wanderers into the final. On target for Finnigan were Adam Walker and Adam McCreevy.
One O’clock Gun fired themselves into the next round of the Magee Cup when overcoming Oldershaw FC 6-0 in round one thanks to a first half treble Jamie Edwards, which was followed by singles from Leighton Clarke, Morgan Galor and Billy Rainbow for an emphatic success.
Only one fixture in the MES Ltd First Division ended in a 1-1 draw between Vineyard, who scored through Sam Hunt and PLCCFC who replied through top scorer Matty Beaman to complete the cricketers league campaign.
Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division - New Brighton Town could not replicate their Dutchman Cup semi-final victory in midweek despite taking a 3-0 lead in the , as they lost a ten-goal thriller 6-4 versus Barnston FC who fought back to claim the points. Both Ben Ryan and Jamie Mitchell netted doubles, with Will Albiston and Jason Stephens netting singles in this end-to-end encounter. Firing the responses were James Carlin and Ewan Sait with a brace each.
Park Royal completed their season with a 1-3 loss against FC Greasby as Matty Wilsons lone strike was not enough due to Lewis Seymour, Corey Casey and Corey Remes bagging a single each for Greasby who still have five league games remaining.
