An eight-goal thriller came in the Second Division Cup 1st round with New Brighton Town profiting from a 5-3 victory over Park Royal, thanks to James Carlin netting twice with singles coming from Jack Richards, Dylan Palmer and Ewan Sait. Claiming the replies for Royal were Joe Coulbrook with a brace and Grant Reay with a solo in a battling performance.
Action from the Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division resulted in leaders Shore Villa overpowering below strength club counterparts Shore Villa Athletic and retaining their 100% record as they ran riot in a 10-0 success. Two trebles came from Ben Windle and Lloyd Kearney and singles were netted by James Caul, Sam Range, Connor Hodson and Matthew McCulloch in a good team effort.
