Report compiled by Tom Potter League Secretary
Only one fixture survived the weather and the council closing all their facilities on Thursday for the weekend. All the other cup fixtures will be rearranged at a later date as the Capitol Cup 2nd round ties take place next week – weather permitting.
Second Division Cup 1st Round
Thanks go to Shore Villa for gaining the use of a 4G pitch so as their Second Division Cup 1st round tie could take place against Farmers Arms.
In an evenly balanced game Farmers struck first as Liam Pitt put them ahead, but following a goalmouth scramble Charlie Farrell levelled before the break. With about 20 minutes remaining Mark Houston netted the winning goal for Villa and take them into the second round.
