The only fixture to survive the waterlogged grounds was played at the Ellesmere Port C of E college 4G pitch as New Brighton Town overcame Park Royal in the Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division with a 5-1 success. James Carlin was a two-goal scorer, with Joe Roberts, Oscar Pugh and Ewan Sait all scoring singles in a good team performance. Netting the lone response for the battling Royal was Matty Scott.
