Action from the MES Ltd First Division saw Finnigan FC close the gap at the top when defeating Vineyard 3-1 as Jon Pomphrett, Jack Fletcher and Stuart Speed all bagged a goal apiece with Craig Bennett hitting the lone reply.
PLCC FC stay in the top three following their 5-1 success over AFC Shore Villa thanks to a double from Matty Beaman and singles from George Craven, Lee Davey and Jordan Chwalko, as Will Dixon banked the lone response.
Farmers Arms failed to add to their 2-0 half time lead as Oldershaw FC fought back to record an excellent 6-2 victory with goals from Caston Ball-Lalemi, a brace from Dale Crawford and a superb hat-trick from Liam Stephens.
The overdue First Division Cup tie from round one saw Wallasey Wanderers go through to the next round after beating Trident 4-1 due to Morgan Catterson notching a treble and Ollie Lowe a single, with Jake Williams scoring the consolation.
Only one game played in the Capitol Cup 2nd round and provided One O’Clock Gun with a 4-1 success over North West Harriers, whose lone scorer was Riley Jones.
Due to teams in cup action, only two games played in the Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division and saw Barnston FC move into second place by virtue of goal difference following their 4-1 victory against Bromborough Athletic thanks to a James Mitchell hat-trick and a solo from Joel Hunter, with Andrew Grice replying for Athletic.A double strike from Sam Copley and a single from Ciaran Byrne earned Shore Villa Athletic a 3-2 result over Park Royal.
FC Greasby cruised past under strength Wallasey Wolves in the Second Division Cup 1st round as both Lewis Seymour and Layton Abbott bagged trebles, with other goals coming from Jay Mizen, Corey Casey and Jack Cooper in a great team effort that saw them savage the Wolves 9-1.
Below strength West Kirby Athletic bowed out of the Wirral District FA cup in a 4-0 loss to Upton Willows.
