The continuing wet weather disrupted many fixtures yet again as pitches became unplayable and postponements increased the ensuing backlog.
However, three fixtures did take place and included the First Division Cup semi-final between PLCCFC and One O’clock Gun that went to a penalty shoot-out.
Luca Murtagh put PLC ahead before Carl Navarro equalised for the Gun and Leighton Clarke fired them ahead and they kept the 2-1 lead until the dying minutes when Matty Beaman levelled the scores. The penalty shoot-out resulted in a 5-4 success for PLCCFC in a game that could have gone either way and produce an exciting spectacle.
The Second Division Cup 2nd round fixture saw a nine-goal thriller as North West Harriers defeated Shore Villa Athletic in a goal strewn encounter despite Luis Shirley netting a fine hat-trick and Jamie Parker a single for Villa, but efforts from Dean Scott, Adam Pickering, Luke Roberts and a brace from Riley Jones gave Harriers the verdict to take them into the semi-finals.
MES Ltd First Division - The only fixture in the MES Ltd First Division saw Finnigan FC move to within one point of the top when overcoming a hard-working and disappointed AFC Shore Villa who had chances to get something out of the game but went down 4-1. Their loan marksman was Jack Taylor.
