The overdue First Division Cup 2nd round tie between Farmers Arms and West Kirby Athletic saw the latter run out 3-1 winners due to singles from Nathan Leyland, Harry Davies and Gabriel Cooper all in the first half, with the only response coming from Alex Clarke.
In the MES Ltd First Division title race One O’clock Gun shot down Vineyard in a great game due to Jamie Edwards netting a goal in each half and Billy Rainbow adding the third with a lobbed effort over the keeper to secure a 3-0 victory and are now four points clear at the top,
PLCCFC stumped Oldershaw FC, who were reduce to ten men, when netting six times through Sonny Sword, Corey Mountford, Jordan Chwlako, Lee Davey, Charlie Clewlow and Danny Hardman to remain third in the division.
Action from the Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division saw the leaders Shore Villa win an eleven-goal thriller 7-4 versus Barnston FC to maintain their 100% record. On target for Barnston were Josh Walters, Jamie Mitchell, Jason Stephens and Will Albiston in a hard-fought encounter.
Also bagging seven goals were FC Greasby as they out fought Bromborough Athletic in a 7-1 success that places them into fourth spot. This thanks to a hat-trick from Corey Casey plus singles from Luke Steele, Lewis Seymour, Neil Sharpe and Jack Cooper, as Loui Fox claimed the consolation.
Despite Grant Ray scoring for Park Royal they were beaten 4-1 by Shore Villa Athletic whose scorers were Roan Huggins, Luis Shirley and Andy Grice with a brace to keep them in third place.
The only fixture postponed was a cup tie and this will now cause fixture problems for those involved.
