MES Ltd First Division pacesetters One O’clock Gun won an enthralling fixture versus Wallasey Wanderers as both teams provided an excellent game that could have gone either way, but goals from Billy Rainbow and Tyler Smith cancelled out the single from Morgan Catherton to ensure this shoot-out went the way of the Gun and they are now ten points clear as we enter the Christmas break.
Oldershaw FC moved on to level points with opponents Vineyard following their 2-1 success in a hard-fought encounter that saw Chris Ledsom-Robinson and Dale Crawford net the vital goals, with Ben Hawitt netting the lone response.
Shore Villa remain the only 100% team in the league as they moved eight points clear at the top of the Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division when roaring past a battling Ellesmere Port Red Lions in a 4-0 victory, thanks to a double from Connor Hodson and singles from Kevin Walker and Sam Range.
Park Royal gained their best result of the season so far when beating Wallasey Wolves 3-0 as Jamie Woods, Grant Raey and Daniel Malley found the net to complete a league double over their opponents.
North West Harriers stay in second place after sprinting past Bromborough Athletic with a 3-1 win in which Declan Kinnear, Adam Pickering and Connor Francom all netted, with Roan Huggins claiming the lone reply.
A goal apiece from Luke Steel, Lewis Seymour, Jack Cooper and Paddy Killen earned FC Greasby a 4-1 victory over Shore Villa Athletic who had Luis Shirley as their only scorer.
Best Wishes are extended all teams and match officials plus the League Management Committee for an enjoyable Christmas and a Happy New Year.
